The self-employed, women and single parents have an increased risk of poverty in old age. For this project, I am collecting pension data from women. For each woman, I knit a blanket; the number of stitches is based on the currently expected amount of pension entitlement, the length results from the average life expectancy of women, taking into account some family factors.
