About
I'm a Hamburg based artist. In 2007 I finished my studies of Visual Communication at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg with a diploma project about lost items I found on streets.
With versatile techniques (from illustration to animation and data knitting…) and a big heart for nonsense I search in my work for the special in the ordinary, for the playful and funny side of life.
I wrote and designed "get-up-from-the-sofa-and-do-something!"-books for teenagers and young adults. I'm also the author of the successful series of fill-in-the-blanks-diaries "Tagebuch für..." which have been translated into Russian, Chinese, Dutch and English.
I love to give talks about napworking and about taking your own bonkers ideas seriously on conferences and events.
