How long is a moment?

Whenever I asked my kid to turn off the tablet, her answers were: “in a moment” or “any minute”. I wondered: How long IS a moment? So I tried using a stopwatch to find out how long a moment lasts for her. As it turns out, the lengths vary greatly. An average moment lasted 18.94 minutes.

Blue tones stand for very short moments (up to 10 minutes), red tones for just tolerable, yellow tones for very long periods of over 30 minutes. The arrangement of the stripes represents the accumulated times in the order in which they occur.
