I made a new quick artbox with one of my favourite paintings. If you think a black square is boring, then please have a look at the work of Kasimir Malevich. He was a pioneer of modern art more than 100 years ago. Imagine everybody painting "things" and objects and then there's a guy who paints a painting of "nothing". By painting a square something completely new could happen and art and how we perceive art changed because of that. I think that is impressive.
So, if you still think black squares are boring and you'd prefer something colourful then I'd recommend you go outside and say hello to a flower...
